A universal system for treating almost all illness Safe and effective

Acupuncture is a system of healing that has been practiced in China for over 2500 years.  Acupuncture is very popular and is now well recognised by the medical professionals throughout Europe as an effective procedure in reducing pain and remediating a number of different medical conditions. The Chinese believe there is a universal life energy called Qi present in every living creature. This energy circulates throughout the body along specific pathways are called Meridians. As long as this energy flows freely throughout the Meridians, health is maintained. But once the flow of energy is blocked, the system is disrupted and pain and illness occur.

Acupuncture works to “re-program” and restore normal functions by inserting fine needles into specific points on the Meridians in order to free up the Qi energy and stimulate the body’s own healing response and help restore its natural balance.
*Acupuncture is used in the treatment for many different areas including:
allergies, asthma, sinusitis, colds and flu, infertility, sexual dysfunction, insomnia, menopausal symptoms, arthritis, all kinds of pain,  headaches, tendonitis, multiple sclerosis, carpal tunnel, sports injuries, hypertension,  sciatica, PMS, anemia, edema, anxiety, stress, hyper and hypothyroidism, skin disorders, smoking, weight loss and many others.

Chinese herbs are an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They are specially formulated in China and include all natural products including flowers, leaf stalks, seeds and roots. Each herb has healing properties which are used for specific purposes and perform particular functions. The TCM practitioners prescribe combinations of herbs (carefully selecting up to 15 from a total of 300) specifically suited to treat you and your condition. Each prescription is therefore tailor-made with different formulas.

* Chinese herbs are also used in beauty products such as lotions, creams and oils.

Acupressure is also known as Chinese Medical Massage -- “Tui Na”. It differs from western massage in that finger and palm pressure is applied using a wide
range of techniques.  It stimulates Qi mobilisation to regain Yin-Yang balance in certain parts of the body, and it enhances general health and vitality by easing tension in muscles, joints and Meridian points. It improves circulation, helps lymphatic drainage and tones the body.

Acupressure is effective in healing and dispelling pain in the back and joints, headaches and sports injuries including fatigue, insomnia and for beauty therapy etc.
*Natural oils and lotions are used when undertaking the service.

Swedish massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology, as opposed to energy work on "meridiens" or sen lines in Asian massage systems. Most people get a 50 or 60-minute Swedish or deep tissue massage, but 75 or 90-minutes gives muscle tissues best chance to achieve results.

The therapist lubricates the skin with massage oil and performs various massage strokes that warm up and work the muscle tissue, releasing tension and breaking up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues, called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension and creates other health benefits.
